Ringtones!!!?
If you have any mp3, wma, or wav file, you can use Phone Sherpa to convert your song into a custom made ringtone:

http://www.phonesherpa.com

They format it for your phone model then send it to you wirelessly. Its very easy to do. Phone Sherpa also has a wallpaper maker that formats any jpg or gif to your exact phone screen size.

They also have a free trial offer (and no, they didn't sign me up for a monthly contract) so you have nothing to lose...
Reply:I actually didn't use a Web site. I bought a program from Office Depot for $20 called Xingtone. It lets me chop any mp3 that I have down to a manageable size and then send it to my phone as a text message.

It works pretty well and for $20 bucks I save a lot considering a lot of the ringtones are $2.49. It's not necessarily free (cost of buying program + sending text messages) but it works and saves me something.

The only catch is, it must be compatible with your phone, but you can check that on the side of the box before you buy. Hope this helps.
